Agility Oriented Work - Feb 2007

Great for lateral movement and quick change of direction in such sports as tennis and soccer

February’s workout is a very dynamic go out that will benefit any athlete or individual’s lateral movement abilities. It features a great mixed modality plyo drill and a mixed modality agility sequence. Lot’s of good work here for hip and shoulder stability/mobility. Enjoy!

I. Warmup/DynamicROM

II. Lower Body Evolution
Power clean to box jump: x5
Ikke shuffle to pro agility drill: x 2 run thru’s
1leg Bio-foam squat: x6 each leg
Tubing row and dive: x 5 triplets

III. Upper Body Evolution
T-stab pushups: x10
Alternating standing cable row: x8 each
Full overhead laterals
Stability ball plyo-pullovers: x10

IV. Cool down/Static Stretch
